Wow! I made some money online.

Make money online-----------So very very easy

“Wow! I made some money online.” This was my reaction when I made few cents within a day using AdF.ly. It is impossible to forget that moment because it was the first time I made some money online. That motivated me and since then I have made hundreds of dollars online.. In this post I am going to present you a detailed review on AdF.ly or commonly called as Adfly.
Keep reading because it will become a new online money making source for you.

What is AdF.ly?

So the first question that comes to your mind is “What is AdF.ly?” so let's start discussing about Adf.ly.
Adf.ly is website that pays you money every time someone clicks on your shortened Adf.ly links.

Still Confused? Let me Explain.

Adf.ly is an URL shortening service similar to Bit.ly.
1.         You input a link on AdF.ly. For example “google.com”
2.         AdF.ly shortens it and gives you a links “https://adf.ly/PNDe3”
3.         You share the shortened link anywhere on the web.
4.         Someone clicks on your link i.e. on “https://adf.ly/PNDe3”
There is twist now. Before redirecting to “google.com” adf.ly will show an ad to your visitor. He had to see the advertisement for at least 5 seconds and then he can continue to your link i.e. “google.com”.

How AdF.ly works?

However I have provided you an overview of the working of AdF.ly, there are some questions left why adf.ly pays you and how adf.ly itself make money. To make it more clear let us take an example. Think of an advertiser who wants to sell his product or promote his online business. So he want more visitors to see his business or buy his product: AdF.ly is the solution for the advertiser. Let's check out the complete working of AdF.ly:
1.         Advertiser pays money to Adfly to show his website to visitors of any specific country or the whole world. Let’s say advertiser paid $2 for 1000 visits.
2.         Adfly takes a cut. Let’s say Adfly takes $0.4.
3.         Adfly shows the advertisement (of advertiser's business or product) for 5 seconds when a visitor clicks on publisher’s links. Publisher gets rest of $1.6 for 1000 visits on his link.
Now you have the complete idea of the working of AdF.ly. Let’s turn to the question “Is AdF.ly a scam?”

Adf.ly: Legit or Scam?

Adf.ly is not a scam; there are several points that prove it.
1.         It was started on 2009. It is seven years now as of 2016. Only legit sites can live for so much of time.
2.         According to Alexa, Adfly is among the top 100 websites of the world. Can you ever think of a scam site in the top 100 websites of the world?
3.         It has more than 2 million users registered which prove that adf.ly a famous and legit site.
4.         They always pay on time.
5.         And the payment proof paid to me by Adf.ly below, proves it to be legit.

Sell Your Crafts Online

Visit us today-----------you will have no regrets

Sell Your Crafts Online

If you love to make crafts, you might already be selling your creations at local markets and to friends. But have you thought about taking your craft business online? Doing so can give you more exposure, greater visibility, and bring in a lot more sales. Local shoppers will visit to learn more about you. You can also sell your crafts to people all across the country.
Here are some ideas for selling your crafts online.
To sell your crafts online, you will first of all need a website. Your website is your business card on the World Wide Web. It is also a place for you to show off your creations. You will need to include order information, your prices, and contact information so interested buyers can easily find you to ask their questions.
Good photos of your products will help you sell your products online. Take pictures of your products from different angles. You will need to optimize them so they load quickly on your visitors’ computers. You wouldn’t want a potential customer to leave without buying just because your images took too long to display!
You should also write good descriptions of your creations. Tell what they’re made of and describe how they look, feel and smell. This will help make your craft appealing to your visitors, even though they can’t pick them up and hold them. Be sure to include prices and shipping information too.
On your website, you should also add some information about you. People like to know who they’re buying from. You can add a photo of yourself, maybe sitting in your craft studio or with your newest creation. It adds a personal touch to your website and helps your visitors to trust you.
Now that you have your website, it’s time to start promoting it. One of the easiest places to promote your new website is in online directories. Submit your website to as many craft and general directories as possible. Some will be free, but the higher quality ones will charge a fee.
Participate in forums and include your website URL in your forum signature. When you participate in a forum, be sure you’re adding quality information to the conversation. If you’re just there to post your links, everyone else will pick up on that and they will ignore you. Instead, engage with the other members and over time they will likely click through to your website to learn more about you.
You can also promote your craft website by writing online press releases and articles. Submit them to the article and press release directories. They can bring you more traffic and help your new website show up better in the search engine results pages.
Social media sites are wonderful places to promote your craft business. Just like in forums, you will need to build relationships with the people you connect with in social media. You can also post links to your sales and new products.
Selling your crafts online can open up many opportunities for you and your craft business. You can go from being a small local crafter to someone who has customers all over the country, or around the world. Once you have your craft website and start promoting it regularly, you will be ready to take your craft business wherever you want to go.

Easy Crafts For Your Toddler

Easy Crafts For Your Toddler

Keeping an inquisitive toddler entertained and stimulated isn’t always an easy task. His curiosity will usually get him in all sorts of trouble as he is taking things apart to figure out how they work. A great way to keep him busy with something slightly less destructive is to make crafts with your toddler. Crafting is also a wonderful way to spend quality time with your child. Take a look at the craft ideas below, pick something and start making an easy craft with your toddler.
Paper Plate Mask
Who knew that plain paper plates could be so much fun? All you need are the plates themselves of course, some scissors, markers and some string. Start by holding the paper plate in front of your child’s face and mark the spots for the eyes. Cut two holes for the eyes so your child will be able to see through the mask. Cutting a mouth opening is optional. Then let your child decorate the mask with markers or crayons. You can also have her cut shapes (think ears) out of construction paper and glue them on the paper plate mask. Tape or staple a piece of string to each site of the mask and use them to tie the finished mask around your child’s head.
Collages
Here’s another one of our favorite craft activities – a collage. You can make a collage with your toddler on just about any topic. Keep old magazines and even grocery flyers around and let your child cut items out of these papers. Then use a glue stick to glue them on a large sheet of paper or construction paper. Use markers, crayons and stickers to further embellish the collage. Don’t forget to hang it up when you’re done.
Macaroni Necklace
Macaroni aren’t just good for making mac and cheese. They are also the building blocks of macaroni necklaces. All you need is a handful of uncooked macaroni noodles and a piece of string. Make a large knot in one end of the string, then let your child thread the noodles on the string. When she’s done, just tie the two pieces of string together and the necklace is ready to be worn. You can also make a colorful necklace by painting the individual noodles with acrylic paint.
Crayon Suncatcher
If you have a toddler in the house, you are bound to have lots of small pieces of broken crayons as well. Here’s a simple craft that will turn those crayon pieces and a little wax paper into a colorful suncatcher. Start by grading the crayon pieces with an old cheese grater, or shave them with a knife. Put each color into a small bowl or in a little pile. Then cut two round pieces out of wax paper. They should be the same size. Let your child sprinkle the crayon shavings on one of the pieces of wax paper. When she’s done, cover it with the other piece of wax paper. Put an old towel on your ironing board and carefully transfer the wax paper crayon “sandwich” on the ironing board. Turn your iron on medium high (without steam). Add another towel on top of the wax paper and gently iron over it several times until the crayon shavings are melted. Allow your suncatcher to cool and harden before you pick it up. Thread some yarn through it to hang it up in the window. You can also sew a button stitch all around the suncatcher with some yarn and a thick needle to make the suncatcher a little more stable.
Finger Paint
What child doesn’t love to finger paint? Smearing paint with your fingers is just plain fun. You can use store-bought finger paint, or make your own by mixing condensed milk with a few drops of food coloring. This works just as well as commercial finger paint and is completely non-toxic. Don’t forget to cover the “work area” with plenty of old newspapers to make cleanup a snap
Sock Puppets
Does your washer or dryer eat socks? Ours sure does and we end up with quite a few single socks whose counterparts have mysteriously gone missing. These socks are perfect for making sock puppets. All you need are two buttons for eyes and some scraps of fabric or felt and a little yarn. After that it will be up to your toddler’s imagination to turn the sock into a puppet – with your help of course. Not only will you have a lot of fun making these sock puppets, you and your child will enjoy playing with the finished products just as much.

Greeting Card Organizer

While making my weekly rounds of yard sales with my mom and daughter, I ran across the neatest little album that was sold by Hallmark many years ago–it is an organizer for greeting cards!
Inside the album there were pages with pockets to hold your greeting cards until you are ready to use them. There were six pages for the months of the year (one month on each side of the page), and each page had the days of the month numbered with a line next to them (on the pocket) so you can write in people’s names next to their birthday. In the back of the album there was a page for holidays and also a page for writing in people’s names and addresses.
To make your own “thoughtfulness album” all you need is a three-ring binder and the pee-chee folders that have pockets in them. You could add any other kinds of extra pages you wish– anything to help you get more organized. I’m constantly misplacing the cards I buy for people ahead of time, and this is the perfect way to keep all of your cards, names, and addresses organized.
You could also decorate your album any way you wish. If you like to do rubber stamping, decorating a card album would be a great project! Or maybe add some photos of family members. Let your imagination run away with you! This album is also a great gift idea–what a perfect way to give young or new family members your family’s list of names and birthdays.

The Ultimate Guide to Craft Fairs

Hi , Susan here

I hope you are enjoying the weekend

Selling items at a craft fair is a great way to get your products noticed and drum up new business.
Here are a few ideas for attracting potential customers to your space.
A lot of crafters sell their handicrafts at fairs in their community. This is a great way to get noticed and it is a great environment for making sales because people come to the fair expecting to purchase handmade items. If you have decided to try attending a craft fair with your homemade goods or you have been attending craft fairs for years and you would like to boost your sales, there are a lot of ways to do this. The most important thing you can do at an event like this is to attract people to your space. If your sales area is lacklustre, people may just pass it by and not even take time to look at what you have made. You could have the best item at the fair, but if people do not take the time to browse, nobody will ever know they want to buy from you. Attracting people is easy if you use a few eye-catching tricks. Consider offering a drawing or a chance to win some of your products for free. You can place a sweepstakes entry box on your table and show off the items that are winnable, luring people to your space with the prospect of getting something for free. Promotional displays like this, really make a difference in how well you do at fairs.

Another option is to create lighting that is interesting and fun. This highlights your product and your sales area. While it may not lure people over based on their interest in anything specific, it will be eye-catching and get everyone's attention. If your sales space looks attractive, you stand a better chance at making sales.

One of the best ways to grab the attention of people who may otherwise pass you by is to have a performance in your space. This may not be an ongoing thing, but you can temporarily attract attention and then everyone will be talking about what happened near your space. For instance, you could have your child or a few children put on a dance performance near your space. People will stop to watch and after, may take a moment to view your items.

Finally, remember everyone's sweet tooth. Offer candy or baked goods at your booth and people will come from all over the fair to get a treat. This is a great way to pull people in, engage them in conversation and get them buying. People love getting treat for free and it often ends in sales.

Recycling Christmas Cards

HALF PRICE COUPON WHEN YOU SIGN UP TO OUR HAND CRAFTED CARD SITE

Recycling Christmas Cards
No one wants to throw away Christmas cards after Christmas. It
seems like such a waste! I have a few creative ideas for
recycling Christmas cards from visitors to my web site, as well
as a few crafty ideas of my own:
If there was no writing or printing on the reverse side of the
front of the card, use the picture portion of the card as a post
card type Christmas card. On the blank side draw a dividing line;
write a message on one side, and on the other side write the
recipient’s address and place the postage stamp. Not only does
this recycle old cards, it saves money on postage because it is
cheaper to mail postcards than letters.
Use pinking shears to cut designs in the front of an old
Christmas card. Glue each design to a small folded construction
paper card to make simple gift tags. Then you can write the
“From:” and “To:” names on the inside of the gift tag.
Cut out pictures you like and glue them to construction paper and
laminate it. You will have pretty placemats for Christmas dinner.
One year I used my Christmas cards to create a keepsake album for
family Christmas letters. I cut the cards into different shapes
and decoupaged them to cardstock I had cut to 8 1/2 x 11 size. I
bound the album together by punching three holes in the cover as
well as in the Christmas letters. I tied the album together with
holiday ribbons. You could also slip the cardstock into the
cover of a three-ring binder. I used an antique colored
decoupage to give the album an aged look.
This year I am using my Christmas cards (plus a few cards saved
from previous years) to create a keepsake ornament container for
my college aged daughter. I was watching television, eating
popcorn from my holiday popcorn tin, and all the sudden it hit me
that the tin container would make a perfect storage container for
Christmas ornaments. I will decoupage the Christmas cards to the
tin container, and use the container to store ornaments we have
been buying for my daughter every year for her to have when she
gets married. She will also have a beautiful keepsake ornament
container.
Using old Christmas cards can be very sentimental. In just a few
short years you may be holding on to Christmas cards from
relatives who aren’t around any more. What better way to
remember them than preserving their handwriting in creative ways
that your family will enjoy for generations to come.

Creating a Blog Schedule For Your Knitting Or Craft Blog

Creating a Blog Schedule For Your Knitting Or Craft Blog

Whether you’ve been blogging for a long time now or you’re completely new to blogging one thing that can really help focus your efforts and make things less stressful is to create a basic blogging schedule. This way you know what you’re going to write about ahead of time, or at least have a basic idea. It also helps your readers to know what to expect and when.
A lot of bloggers create their blog schedule by days of the week, Monday Mindbenders, Tuesday Teasers, etcetera. You get the idea. We’re going to create a sample blog schedule for a knitting blog. I admit that I am not a knitter by trade, I just can’t master the whole two needles thing, so if I use an incorrect term please correct me. Let’s start our week on Monday and go from there.
Monday Machine Knitting: On this day you could write about the differences between machine knitting versus hand knitting, pros, cons, patterns, and so forth. Some great tutorial topics would be how to convert a hand knitting pattern into a machine knitting pattern and how to work in rounds on a knitting machine. There are also a lot of one day projects out there for machine knitting, like making a sweater in one day. You could review different machine knitting patterns, projects and accessories.
Tuesday Twos: Get it? Knit one, purl two? Okay, so maybe I’m not as witty as I think I am, but you get the idea. You’re looking for a daily theme that you can easily write about. This could be patterns, frustrations, whatever comes up when you’re knitting. Of course, knitting is just the example here, the same goes for any craft or really any topic at all, books, movies, cooking, collectibles, whatever your site is about.
Wednesday WIPs: If you’re wondering WIP stands for work(s) in progress. So, sticking with our knitting example this would be whatever projects you are currently working on. Share pictures, talk about mistakes you might have made while going through the pattern, share a tip about the project.
Most importantly get your readers involved, ask them what they think and ask them to share what they are working on as well. You’ll be surprised how many will blog about what they’re doing also and include a link back to your blog post talking about works in progress. It really builds that community feeling even more.
Thursday Threads: Product reviews could go on this day. Talk about that awesome luxurious new wool you just bought, or the shiny new needles. Again, if you’ve got an affiliate link throw that in there and all the better.
Friday Free Patterns: Here is another opportunity to talk about products that you’re using and the free patterns that you’ve found on the internet. The nice thing about free patterns is that they free us up to splurge a little more on the supplies. Tell your readers about the great hand dyed yarn you bought to stitch that scarf.
Even better if you create your own patterns and share them with your readers. You’ll find yourself with a following of fans in no time at all.
Saturday Scarves and Socks: I couldn’t think of an S word to go with the knitting category, so I threw in the scarves and socks, because everyone always seems to be knitting one or the other at any given moment. I personally wish that I could knit, just so I could make some of the great sock patterns I’ve seen on the internet.
Sunday Wild Cards: I like to leave Sunday as a wild card day where I might or might not blog. If I do then I just go off the top of my head.
Now, you’ve got a basic outline to follow each and every week. Of course, if something doesn’t apply one week you don’t have to stick to the outline, write what’s applicable when it’s fresh.
Also, don’t be afraid to send out more than one post per day. Let’s say you’ve already written your usual Wednesday post, and then your favorite knitting shop sends out an email for a one day only sale and you want to blog about it and shout it from the rooftops. Don’t hold back on that, go for it. It’s relevant, your readers are going to love it, and if you’ve got an affiliate link for that particular shop it’s even better.

How to Keep Your Children Occupied Once School Is Out

How to Keep Your Children Occupied Once School Is Out

I do know that I am very fortunate to be able to work from home and, in turn, be home with my children and not have to worry about childcare. I am very blessed to be able to be involved in my children’s lives on a daily basis like I am. However, they are still kids and will still “get bored” and “have nothing to do”. But, I do not plan to let boredom turn into watching TV all day or playing on the computer/Wii all day while they are home from school. I do not allow that during the school year and I definitely will not allow it during the summer months. So, what do I do to keep my children occupied? We do have season passes to a local amusement park and a local aquarium, but we do not plan on spending all of our time inside.
When they were smaller, we would make lots of homemade play dough and I would let them have whatever kitchen utensils they wanted to use (unless it was a more expensive piece, that is) and just play to their heart’s content. I also kept a craft box handy filled with lots of pipe cleaners, pompoms, Popsicle sticks, construction paper, glue, paper towel/ toilet paper rolls, glitter, stencils, etc., and would put them outside on the back porch and let them use their imaginations. I even kept water-soluble paints and brushes on hand, and on time we painted river rocks! I still keep a lot of these items on hand, but they are getting bigger and not wanting to do that as much as they used to. Now, I have one that loves to draw and one that loves to paint, and one that loves to do both. We try very hard to encourage our children to be creative in all that they do.
A lady I spoke to recently said she used to let her children finger paint on the kitchen floor (vinyl flooring) because they could be as messy as they wanted and then she would just mop it up when they were done! What a great idea! I never thought of that one, but I used to blow bubbles in the house for my kids when they were little. Don’t worry, it is not messy or hard to clean up unless you spill them. The kids have a blast trying to pop the bubbles, and it is something different from just blowing them outside.
They also love to ride their bikes around the yard. We are blessed to have acreage for them to ride on. We will also make a sprinkler for them to play in when it is hot but we cannot go anywhere that day. Take a clean, used gallon-sized milk jug and punch holes in the bottom. Run hose over a tree limb and place the nozzle of the hose in the top and tape. Turn on the hose and you have a frugal, homemade sprinkler! Of course, there is also the lake when we can.
Another outing that we plan to do this summer is go play a few games of putt-putt at a small local business. The prices are very reasonable and it’s close to home. I know not everyone has this option but make sure and check around locally to see what your area offers in the way of activities for families. Don’t forget to check out local parks. Make sure that, in the hotter months, to go early in the morning before it gets too hot and the mosquitoes become to pesky to enjoy your time outdoors, and take lots of water to keep everyone hydrated.
Make sure and plan a family day/night. Take turns picking a board game to play or a movie to watch. Pop popcorn, fix favorite drinks and snacks, and just enjoy spending time together and catching up on each others lives. Make sure and plan your days accordingly. Try to plan something to do inside on the days that it is supposed to rain and your outdoor activities when it is supposed to be clear.
I hope this helps you come up with some ideas on how to entertain your children. Please remember to tailor activities to be age-appropriate for your child(ren), and have a wonderful summer!
